My First Time

Theres a first time for everything; first time you ride a bike, first day of school and in this case, first blog. For a long time this idea of blogging has interested me but I have never pursued it, but now it seems I have good reason too. You see, in 18 days I will depart on a 3 month exchange to Switzerland, a place i have been before but not for 3 months. When I applied for the exchange I was thinking to my self that 3 months isn't that long, I'll be fine, but now that its right around the corner, I'm thinking 3 months is a long time! So aside form the fact that I'm kind freaking out inside, I decided to start this blog as a kind of travel journal. I have been privileged enough to have been able to travel a lot in my 17 years but have never bothered to keep a journal, mostly out of laziness, but a blog seems like more fun than sitting down with a piece of paper and my feelings. This blog is mostly for me, and my mom, because I don't know how many people will sit by their computers listening to me blab on and I don't really know how this will go, the blog or the exchange but like anything else I do for the first time, I'm going to give it my all.
